New Product Idea -Smart Mouse Trap

Smart Mouse Trap - A two component system. Main detector (MD) part contains the battery and wifi module. Replaceable trap component (RTC) contains the trapping mechanism, simple closed circuit when trap is triggered, and bait receptacle. MD would report activity around the Smart Mouse Trap (IR or similar detection) and when the trap has been triggered (mouse caught). Squeeze buttons on the sides of the MD would release the RTC into a trash can allowing for safe and easy disposal of the captured mouse. RTCs could be low cost using simple plastic components, spring mechanism, and contact wiring to the MD. (See TOMCAT Press N Set Mouse Trap  UPC Code # 888603361014 as example). Homeowner would be alerted of either activity or trap triggered to allow for early disposal of killed rodent before rotting sets in.
